2022 Hymn Requirements

Each competitor will perform a hymn of their choosing from any published hymnal. The competitor must perform the following aspects of a hymn as if accompanying a congregation:

• introduction
• two stanzas (indicating on the entry form the hymnal used and which two stanzas are being accompanied)
• appropriate embellishments, reharmonizations, descants, etc.

Note: All embellishments to the hymn must be composed or improvised by the competitor. No published or otherwise created music by another person is allowed. Scan of hymn may be requested.
